  • COOL SHIT: LIGHT L16 CAMERA

Finally a more camera-related for you guys. I stumbled across this latest piece of camera technology on the interwebs the other day and I just had to share it. Unfortunately they do not currently ship to Australia (of course), but then again that's probably a good thing for my bank account.

It is a new camera and it's called the Light L16 camera.

It's basically like having a DSLR that you can easily fit into your bag and won't weigh you down. What you get in this little pocket-rocket is equivalent to having a DSLR camera body, a zoom and three fast prime lenses in your back pocket.

Inside the actual device there are 16 individual cameras. When you capture a photo, ten of these cameras will fire at once to give you an image that can have up to 52 megapixels resolution. With a built-optical optical zoom of 35-100mm and the ability to adjust the depth of field once you've captured your image you can capture your surroundings in perfect clarity and make sure your image is focusing on exactly what you want. If you're someone who loves to take portrait photos I think this will work wonders for you.

It also hands low-light situations pretty well also.

Some other fancy features include a touch screen, the ability to do a bit of editing and Wi-Fi capabilities. This means you can upload what you've just captured almost instantly to Facebook and make everyone jealous of your adventures.

If you are lucky enough to be in America, at the moment you can get all this for only will only $1,699  and they have free shipping! If you can't afford all that right now then it's no worries because you will only need to pay $199 upfront. It will cost more once pre-order is over, so if you're keen I would say get in now to grab this margin. If you do, not only will I be insanely jealous, but I'd love for you to comment below on your views on this new piece of technology and how it runs for you when yours arrives in the mail.

      1. I know right! I wish they would ship here!! I've considered checking out those companies who will ship things for you that normally can't be shipped to Australia, but I should save money. But it would be so cool to have one!
