  • Cool Shit: Paper Saver

We all know we need to be looking after our environment. Most of us are aware of paper wastage, and how having bundles and bundles of paper can have a long-term detriment to Mother Nature, particularly trees. Despite this we probably still go through hundreds of pieces of paper ourselves each year. Though the technological age is converting most of our paper ways to a digital screen, many of us just can't get past having a physical piece of paper in front of us for certain things.

To help with this many of us probably choose to buy recycled paper, or other things that are made from 100% recycled products. But what if we could take our conscience effort to help the environment a step further in this area. Say hello to the Paper Saver.

To me, after you purchase this notebook, you'll never need to buy another in your life. So really it is both an envrionment-saving tool and a money-saving tool for you. Uni students take note!

Now this has been around for a little while, so you may have heard of it before. The idea behind the Paper Saver is super simple, yet makes total sense, I don't know how someone didn't think of this before. Basically take any spare or old pieces of paper you have laying around that only have one side with markings on them (like all those assignments you attempted to print out but the printer decided to freak out on you so you have about ten copies of the same assignment laying around). Fold them all in half, slip them inside the sleeve within this leather bound notebook - you're ready to go.

    It speaks for itself really.

    2. Yes to this! Recently, I've only been purchasing notebooks that are made of recycled paper but I don't think I've actually purchased a paper-saving notebook in this form before. These would be a fun DIY too!

    4. This is actually extremely cool and something that I would definitely use. Had no idea this existed, thanks so much for sharing this. Definitely thinking of getting one, although now that I am out of Uni, I do not have that much paper waste.
