A lot has gone on this month for me. The final weeks of semester hit, which meant it was constant assignments and exams. That was followed by a week of sickness just as I reached my holidays, which is never fun. Then I spent the last week suddenly moving into a bigger unit. I'm still settling in but I've found time to put together my favourites for the previous month.
Beautiful Boots
I recently put up a post that featured a range of my favourite boots from my collection. That post was inspired by some of the beautiful pairs I'd managed to get my hands on over this month. I actually got both of these pairs from Cotton On and on sale!
This pair in particular I had been eyeing off for a while. Many higher end designers have put out boots that look very similar, but I've never been able to make myself spend the dollars on them. When I saw these babies on sale for $20 though I knew it was the world giving me a sign that it was finally my time to own a pair. I've never loved a pair of shoes so much in my life.
These were also a massive bargain at only $15! I hadn't planned on buying new shoes, but when I saw these beautiful babies at that price how could I not!

Tomboy Sport Gym Towel
I actually write for Tomboy Sport's blog and received this as compensation for my work, and while I only got it recently I just had to put it in my favourites. No I'm not getting paid anything more by the brand to chuck this in here, I just simply love it. I've always just used a bath towel for the gym, and while that's never really bothered me I couldn't help but kind of love I finally have a proper gym towel. The fabric this towel is made out of is so soft and just feels like such amazing quality. I also love the simple square design. You can also pick this up in a black version. Keep an eye out on Tomboy Sport's blog for a more detailed review of this towel soon.
Skincare
I always love trying new skincare items, and this month I have some new favourites to rave about. First is Australian Pure Beauty's Make Up Be Gone Micellar Water. I love the Garnier one, but I wanted to try something else. I use this to tone my face after cleansing, and this stuff is also brilliant at removing pesky eye makeup. My other skincare favourite this month is Sukin's Hydrating Mist Toner. I love to spray this stuff over my face after toning and before moisturising, and just at any point during the day when I need something to make me feel a bit refreshed.
I featured this product in my Priceline 40% cosmetics haul and I've been using it ever since. I honestly notice a massive difference when I use this before putting on my makeup. It stops my foundation from separating during the day and does help to keep the oil at bay. I wouldn't say I stay 100% shine-free, but I definitely notice a difference when I remember to put this on first in the morning.
Nescafe Dolce Gusto
This month my boyfriend brought a Nescafe Dolce Gusto coffee pod machine, which totally reminded me I had one sitting back at my parent's place. So I got my mum to bring it down to me and I've been putting it to good use ever since. I've never been a massive coffee drinker, that was up until the last few months; I blame the crazy semester I just had. My favourite pods for the Dolce Gusto have to be the Chocoletto (which is basically a hot chocolate) and the Latte Macchiato
