Recently the lovely and generous people over at Ego Pharmaceuticals Australia sent me an amazing package full of skincare goodies! I wanted to share what I received with you and tell you a bit more about them.
The company not only has a range of different skincare brands to choose from that have awesome products, but that cater for all different skin types and needs. Whether you have dry skin, ageing skin or are after some other benefit, you'll likely find something on their website that can help. Most also have no perfume or scent to them, which I actually really like because, while I generally am not bothered by the smell of any products, I think, especially when it comes to creating products that are aimed at really helping people with their skin issues, no scent is the best option. As a company, they are also always trying to create new and innovate products, so I can't wait to see what they produce next.
A little bit about the bits I was lucky enough to receive;
QV Gentle Wash - This body wash is aimed at people who have dry, sensitive and problematic skin. It claims to be soap free which helps with ensuring that it doesn't leave your skin stripped of moisture.
QV Intensive Moisturising Cleanser -This product is made to be used like a body wash in the shower. This one is made for those of you with very, very dry skin problems other problematic skin issues. The product is suppose to leave a type of moisturising film on your body to keep it protected after you jump out of the shower.
QV Cream - This is an overall body cream that is made for people with dry or sensitive skin. Wherever on your body you may have particular dry or problem areas, lather some of this on after having a shower or bath or after being out in the sun all day.
QV Skin Lotion - This is another overall body cream. I have tried this one out and I did enjoy it. It wasn't that thick which is something that I loved about it. It definitely left my skin moisturised throughout the day.
QV Cleansing Face Wipes - I don't use cleansing wipes everyday, I generally prefer to cleanse my face in the shower, but I find them perfect for when I'm going to other people's houses or I've quickly put some makeup on after a shower because I've had to go out quickly and I don't want to wet my whole body again. I have used a couple of these and I would definitely recommend. The packaging claims that it can remove all makeup, including waterproof mascara and cleans out that gross stuff that gets stuck in your pores, so I was expecting some pretty strong cleaning power from these. I have to say I was impressed, I found my makeup ripped off quite easy with these, and did leave my face pretty nice and clean. They claim to be scent free, though I would say there is a bit of a scent to them, but it's just a clean smell which isn't overpowering.
Elucent Whitening Exfoliating Cleanser - This whitening range of products aims to reduce skin pigmentation problems and help brighten skin.
Elucent Whitening Night Moisturiser - Also a part of the whitening range, this is another one I have tried. I found it was great ay moisturising my face, and isn't to thick, which is something that can really turn me off a product. I did feel a bit of a tingling sensation when applying, though I'm not sure if it's because of dry patches or due to the properties of the product, however it isn't anything that is overly irritating and the sensation subsides quite quickly.
Keep your eye out on my blog for more information about more of these products as I test them out.
