  • Ziani Beauty Haul

The current trend of natural and non-toxic beauty is certainly in full swing, and for good reason. After all, who really wants to be putting unknown chemicals all over their face and body. I find that shopping online is the easiest way to find all kinds of positive products, and one place you can stop and look is Ziani Beauty. They recently sent me over a little box of goodies, and they have such a cool selection of products on their site, so I thought I'd share what was inside to give you a little look at some of the awesome bits you can grab from their website.

I'll admit I was a little drawn in by the sleek packaging of this product, but I was also intrigued to see what the benefits were. The idea with these is that you take two per day, with food, and the benefits list, well it's long. These capsules claim to help improve skin issues like eczema, dandruff and dermatitis, aid in weight management, aid in building muscle and losing body fat, assist in reducing inflammation and arthritis, boost your immune system, aid with heart disease and high blood pressure, assist with treatment of UTI and kidney infections, help improve memory and brain function, improve energy and endurance, assist with balancing hormones, assist with improving digestion and assist in the prevention of gum disease and tooth decay (phew!).

I've been wanting to try a more natural deodorant like this for ages! I'm not usually a roll-on deodorant fan, but I'm going to make an exception for this one, because I've been impressed. Though it says it's coconut deodorant, the only time you can really smell anything coconuty is if you put your nose right up to the product, when you roll it on though, it really doesn't smell like anything. While sometimes I can struggle to get enough product to come out, when I apply this I find it works better than any other spray deodorant I've ever brought. I still sweat a little, because all humans need to, but there is absolutely no smell. I find normal deodorants seems to stop protecting from odour after a few hours, but this stuff goes strong for the entire day. Another product proving we really don't need any sort of animal testing or involvement in our products to make them good.

I want to start off by saying I've been highly impressed with this foundation. When I heard the words Photo Finish, it made me think of MAC and I thought maybe this was going to be a heavy or thick foundation, but I was presently surprised. It feels really nice on the skin, it's not to full-on or cakey, and yet it really does give a wonderful finish to the skin. Paired with a primer I also found it didn't seem to oil up or seperate on my face after a few hours of wear.

I was drawn to this because of the black colour of it (a bit weird I know). When you receive it, it certainly isn't as pitch black as it seems on the website, there is some dark purple shades mixed in there, but I still think it's super cool. As the name suggests this has a lavender scent, and it's fairly strong, so you'll need to be a lavender fan to purchase and enjoy this product. I've become a bit obsessed with taking baths, though I still don't get to do it as much as I'd like, so I've been gravitating towards bath products lately. This soak aims to help calm and relax your mind while also cleansing and nourishing your skin.

I don't have much practice when it comes to gel liner, but with my favourite Models Prefer liner beginning to run out, and me not being able to find a replacement anywhere, I thought now is a better time to start than never. I've had a bit of a play around with this liner, and while I certainly still need to practice more, the liner is a great, dark black and seems to glide on quite easily, save for my current lack of skill.

I was instantly drawn to this from the packaging I'll admit, but the claimed benefits sounded super interesting as well. We all know that part of looking good on outside, particularly when it comes to our skin, is about being healthy on the inside, and this tea aims to help with that. By drinking this tea, it can help to detox your insides which can be helpful if you've just had a bit of a big night out or are feeling stress, tension or have a headache. Continual consumption aims to help improve the quality of your skin, nails and hair. Another plus is there is no caffeine or other nasties inside, just good, natural ingredients your body will love.

I picked this stuff up keen to make some sort of recipe with it, which I'll of course post on here, so keep your eyes peeled for that. The Black Goji Berry has been used in Chinese medicine to help treat things like cardio vascular disease, hypertension and symptoms of menstration and menopause, not to mention it gives any food it's used in an awesome purple colour.
