  • Shipped Wrecked (ft Glue Store)

I have to admit I didn't really jump on board when the whole slip dress and tee trend was a thing. As always seems to be the case, I find myself beginning to like a trend once it dies off a little, though I wouldn't say this one has reached its end just yet. I decided to give it a go and purchase this pleather one from the brand LIONESS off Glue Store. What I also loved about this one is that it came paired with the white cropped tee, and though it was attached to the dress, I was able to easily unpick it so I can now wear whatever I want with it. In terms of the dress itself, it does have quite a wide, boxy type fit, and thanks to my fairly straight up and down frame, things like this can look a little like a sack on me, and because it is pleather, it doesn't give my body much shape. I paired it with my belt from Zaful, which I have linked in two previous posts (here and here), to give me the option of having a little more shape. While I don't completely hate it, I think I need to spend some more time styling it to find a way to wear it that I like, otherwise it will make a great piece for those casual days where I'm not to fussed and need something to throw on.
