  • Keeping up with Kerastase

After my latest visit to Suki Hairdressing (who are still keeping my hair in magical condition) I was loaded up with a bunch of new products from Kerastase and their Blond Absolu range. This is the brand's first range dedicated to blonde hair and features a number of products that will hydrate and protect hair while also helping to neutralise any brassiness and boost that blonde colour.

    Bain Ultra-Violet Anti-Brass Purple Shampoo
This shampoo is all about ridding hair of any and all brassiness. This shampoo contains a combination of neutralisers including Hyaluronic Acid which helps to repair your hair fibres and prevent any future breakage, Edelweiss flower which also acts to protect your hair on the daily from damage and Ultra Violet which is what helps to get rid of that yellow colour and help your blonde shine.

    Cicaplasme
The last heat protectant product I used was also from Keratase and I absolutely loved it, so I was stoked to have a new protectant to try from them. This product also contains Hyaluronic Acid and Edelweiss flower and aims to protect hair from heat up to 230 degrees. Anyone with colour treated hair should not be without some sort of heat protectant and I would certainly recommend something from Kerastase to get the job done.

    Cicaflash Intense Fortifying Treatment
When I'm not using my SmartBond conditioner and I'm looking to give my hair a good soaking in something hydrating and restoring, this is the product I turn to. Despite being a treatment conditioner I found this to be super light weight compared to products I've used in the past, so my hair doesn't come out of the shower feeling weighed down or difficult to style, just an extra smooth and silky version of its usual self.

    Bain Lumiere Hydrating Illuminating Shampoo
Lastly another purple shampoo, but one that is really concentrated on hydrating your hair. This is a product I like to use when I've been using the other purple shampoo for a few washes and feel like my hair could use an extra little bit of TLC. Despite being so focused on hydration this is still a light weight product, containing the same neutralisers as the previous products.
