A set of rainy days has hit the town I live in at the moment, and it's really making me realise that summer is going to be gone sooner rather than later. With this odd, transitional weather starting to hit, it can be hard to pick what to wear when it's not freezing out, but also not warm enough to be walking around in shorts and a t-shirt. The best way to help yourself during these days is to have what I like to call a 'cooling factor'; something that can be removed that helps you to cool down when it gets to much.

In this outfit, I've popped the cooling factor up the top. Pairing this mustard tube top from Zaful (I'm loving this colour at the moment) with this cropped, denim jacket also from Zaful, gives me the option to have arms and shoulders out if it's getting to hot, or pop the jacket on if it's getting to cold. Speaking of the jacket, can we just take a minute to appreciate how awesome it is. The cropped length paired with the distressing and beautiful embroidered pattern made it one of those pieces I just knew I had to have as soon as I saw it. Also the mustard and denim combo helps to keep the summer vibes alive.

I've paired it with these pants from Valleygirl (the stuff they have sometimes really surprises me), which I originally brought with the sole intention of wearing to work, but the paperbag waist actually makes them a really trendy piece to pair with more casual outfits. They're quite loose and super comfy, and the big waist makes them perfect to pair with a belt. This pair actually came with its own belt, but I decided to switch it out and pop on this Western style belt from Zaful that you know I'm always wearing with everything.

I've also got a few little jewellery pieces. This layered necklace from Zaful is the perfect length that I've been looking for lately. I have so many really long necklaces that just don't always go with everything. I also normally don't reach for gold pieces but for some reason I've been loving the gold look of this. I've also got this pair of super cool, long cross earrings from Zaful, which just screamed my name as soon as I saw them. They're long but the design isn't super obnoxious which makes them super wearable and easy to use as that one accessory that can help jazz up any outfit.

Think wearing a sweater, like some of the ones below from Gamiss, is out of the question now? The warmer months may be making their way to us here in Australia, but that doesn't mean we're immune to a cold day or night here and there; and for any readers sitting on the other side of the world, the winter months are certainly on their way to you. That's why having a sweater in your wardrobe can never go astray. I love making my sweaters and jackets the statement piece to my outfit, so today I've put together a little list of a few funky ones you can find on Gamiss that will add a bit of flair to your warm wardrobe.

I use to hate trying to dress for cold weather. I use to barely own any coats or jackets and everything I had was summer appropriate, I just didn't want to let go of those warm days. As I've gotten older I've acquired some more winter ready pieces, and now, while I still bloody hate the cold, I've learnt to dress better for it and actually enjoy it. Today I've put together a few different winter outfits from the site Lyst. If you don't know what Lyst is, basically it's an online store that has curated a bunch of beautiful items from shops all over the Internet. You can just type in what your after and Lyst will find you some options, which are then directly linked to the website they're sold on.

While this may sound like a sponsored post, it isn't exactly. This post is actually a part of Lyst's #seekerseries campaign where, for every blog post written featuring pieces from their website, they are donating to a charity called Care, who help to save lives in 79 developing countries during disasters and also aim to find a solution for the millions in poverty. I'm excited to be a part of this campaign and to be able to help those in need, while also giving you guys some fashion inspiration.

When the weather turns a little colder, I like to turn my makeup a little darker; I'm talking berry toned lips and burgundy nails. While I keep the base of my makeup routine pretty much the same, I love changing up the feature colours. So today I wanted to share some makeup products with you that can help you achieve a real winter look.

All the products I'm linking in this post can be found on Catch.com.au. If you haven't heard of them before, Catch.com.au is an online department store that lets you get the things you want for less. Back in the day they use to be called Catch of the Day and they would have a new deal on a single item each and every day. Well now they've taken that concept and expanded it a hundred times over to bring you a site full of amazing deals. They have beauty, fashion, homewares, tech and so much more, and they always have amazing sales going on their items. So next time you have something in mind you're thinking of buying, do a quick little search on Catch.com.au and you just might snag yourself a bargain (see what I did there).
