  • November Favourites

November is always a bit more of an eventful month for me. As well as being my birthday month, it's also always the time of year when I finish Uni for the year; though this time finishing meant finally completing my five year law degree, so it's been a big month of celebrations.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
It took me a while to pick up a copy of this book. Though I'm a massive Harry Potter fan and own all the other books, the fact this was written out as a play script made me hesitate to grab a copy. I wasn't sure if I'd enjoy reading something in that format, and also knowing the story was fan fiction based and not written by J.K herself, I wondered if I'd actually enjoy the story. But, like I knew I would, I eventually caved and brought myself a copy, and you know I don't regret it. At the time of writing this I'm about halfway through (though probably by the time this is live I'll be done), and that's only with about two sittings. The script format means there isn't a lot of words on a page, or many to read overall, so i've been getting through it pretty quick. I've actually really enjoyed the storyline so far, which makes me wish it was in novel form because I feel it would be even more engaging and interesting if there was more detail to the story.

    2017 A4 Diary
Guess where I picked this up from; if you guessed Kmart you would be 100% correct. I actually didn't have a diary for 2016 (and I have no idea how I managed to keep myself organised for the entire year), but it's one of the things I love about the start of a new year; getting to pick out a fresh diary. I would normally wait till after Christmas or just generally closer to the new year to grab one, but when I saw this in Kmart (and for so cheap; only $8), I couldn't resist. There's nothing really fancy about it on the inside or the outside to be fair, but I just love the minimal nature of it and the grey and copper colour scheme.

Thankyou Botanical Rosehip & Sweet Orange Hand Cream
After picking this up at the Bloggers United Sydney Event (see my full product haul here), I've been loving this stuff. This stuff smells so good and sinks into your hands super quick, which is exactly what you need with a hand cream because there's nothing worse than being stuck with sticky hands for 20 minutes and not being able to do anything.

    Darcy's Choc Chia Bombs
I have been buying these non-stop this month; they're 100% my new favourite snack! I spotted these babies in the health food aisle at Woolworths and I've been hooked ever since. These are basically just a type of protein ball and they just taste awesome.

Nivea Fruity Shine Strawberry Lip Balm
Can I start by just saying this stuff smells amazing!! (it will make you want to eat it). I honestly put this stuff on even when my lips don't even need it because it smells so good. But when it comes hydrating your lips this stuff works a charm. I have a bunch of other Nivea products waiting in the wings to haul so keep an eye out for that.

I recently went to the dentist (if that isn't the most riveting sentence starter you've ever read, I don't know what is....) and thanks to the thin layer of enamel on my teeth, I needed to get myself a softer bristle toothbrush. My mum recommend this one for me and it's awesome. It's literally the softest toothbrush I have ever used before! Also the bristles are infused with charcoal which is meant to help with giving you a cleaner and healthier mouth.

These sunglasses were actually my mum's and she had her prescriptions in them. She recently wasn't loving the style anymore so she got the original sunglass lenses put back in and passed them on to me; and I love them! I love the oversized look and the all black colour scheme is 100% me.
