  • Silky Summer Skin | Ft Dr Li-Cheun Wong

For those of you on my side of the world, summer is coming. While our skin now gets a break from those terrible, cold winds, it's now about to get belted with those hot sun rays, so it's time to switch up our skincare to keep it healthy and hydrated for these warmer months. As well as having a few products to recommend to help your skin be happy this summer, I've also been lucky enough to get some tips and tricks from Sydney Dermatologist Dr Li-Cheun Wong, which are featured in the graphics.

Aveeno Daily Moisturising Sheer Hydration Lotion
In winter there's nothing better then covering your body in a nice, thick lotion to ward off all the dryness from the cold wind, but in summer, when it's hot and sticky, there's nothing worse than waiting for moisturiser to sink in or feeling your body stick to your clothes and pleather seats thanks to the layer of moisturiser that won't go away - that's where Aveeno's Daily Moisturising Sheer Hydration Lotion comes in handy. If you've used Aveeno products before than this is just the same, but the new formula means it sinks in within seconds. It also contains the Active Naturals Oat Formula which is what helps keeps moisture locked into your skin for up to 24 hours as it replenishes your skins moisture barriers and prevents water loss. So for something quick, easy and full of benefits, this stuff is worth a go.

I mentioned this product in my previous post about Weleda products. This stuff will instantly bring hydration and smoothness back to your hands and it's also the perfect travel size, so no matter where you're heading throughout the day you can keep it on you.

This stuff has to go down as my favourite sunscreens of all time; I've never tried anything that protects my skin so well. After I cover myself in this once (unless it's a scorcher of a day or I go swimming a lot) this will have me covered for pretty much the entire day. I rarely ever get burnt when I use this stuff. It's not greasy, so it sinks into the skin beautifully and the coconut scented reminds me of the summer time like nothing else.

If you're looking for a sunscreen that is completely natural and full of certified organic ingredients, this is the one for you this summer. There are no nasties in this stuff and it's the perfect solution for people with sensitive skin.

It's always important to drink water throughout the day, but it's even more important when the temperature starts to increase and you're planning to be outside for a large part of the day. I love these VOSS waters because they look super stylish, and their new, smaller bottles are plastic so they're perfect for throwing in your bag. As much as I love the glass ones, these smaller plastic ones are much more practical for those summer days filled with all the activities

I just recently featured this one on the blog, so you know I'm a big fan. If you want to know why check out the original post here
